UP YODDHA VS JAIPUR PINK PANTHERS

31-24 FULL TIME: Nilesh Salunkhe has picked up a bonus, trying to restrict the loss to a seven-point one, so that the Panthers can take something home from this contest.

With that, the Jaipur juggernaut has been stopped in its tracks - its second defeat this season - by a clinical UP side.

31-22 Jaipur Pink Panthers, with the lead mounting, are committing a whole lot of blunders now. Surender Gill sees off Amit Hooda and Vishal.

27-22 Surender Gill in no hurry to try and go for a point as he happily sees off the 30-second countdown. The six-point lead should be enough with three minutes remaining on the clock.

26-19 Shrikant Jadhav justifying the tag of UP's "Do or Die raider". He picks up a point as he resorts to the lobbies to escape the Pink Panthers defence.

25-19 Deepak Niwas Hooda, supposedly suffering from a sprain in his right leg, still manages to get a touch point. Easy pickings too.

25-18 SUPER TACKLE! Deepak asks Vishal to go for the diving ankle hold. He does as asked as Sunil and the skipper himself follow suit to contain the dangerous Rishank Devadiga.

23-16 Do or Die! Sumit blocks Ajinkya Pawar, quite effectively, until the others joined in. UP running away with it!

22-16 Rishank Devadiga has got Narwal walking... AGAIN! A running hand touch was all that was required.

20-14 Raider out of bounds! Deepak Narwal has been literally thrown out of the lobbies by Rishank Devadiga. For a moment, it seemed that Narwal had all but bagged the two points.

18-14 An outstanding Super Raid from Jaipur's man in form - Deepak Niwas Hooda. He takes three UP players off the mat. Only three left on the mat now for UP.

16-10 HALF-TIME: A successful raid from Rishank Devadiga sees UP Yoddha attain a six-point lead over Jaipur Pink Panthers at HT. Shrikant Jadhav's good form has continued with him bagging four points tonight already.

14-10 UP Yoddha inflicts an All Out now. We should take a minute to laud the UP Yoddha selection today. There is no Monu Goyat and they have gone for Surender Gill to play as the third raider. And the move has paid and how!

9-10 ALL OUT! Nitin Rawal, who primarily plays as a raider, does not let Shrikant Jadhav go. Is this the turning point that Jaipur was seeking?

9-7 Surender Gill pulls off a wonderful scorpion kick to get rid of Vishal. I can assure you the right corner did not see that coming.

7-7 Vishal gets the first touch in a Super Tackle off a Do or Die raid! How crucial are those points? Owner Abhishek Bachchan is up on his feet.

7-5 The defence has been very shaky in this match with both units failing to perform. Only one point out of the 11 in the match has come from tackles.

6-5 A blunder from Deepak Narwal as he tries to go for an unassisted hold. Shrikant Jadhav gets a point.

4-5 Easy pickings for Deepak Narwal. A running hand touch gets rid of Ashu Singh.

3-4 Is Rishank Devadiga the most vocal man on the mat? Will the referees warn him? As long as you are passing on messages to your teammates things should be fine.

2-3 Nitin Rawal revives the skipper in a Do or Die raid. Amit OUT!

0-2 Dipak Niwas Hooda starts off on a high! Two points: a running hand touch takes care of the right corner and right in.

U MUMBA VS HARYANA STEELERS

27-30 Vikas Kandola was on nine points but he does not go for a Super 10 after Fazel Atrachali asked his teammates to withdraw deeper into their end of the mat.

But what a match this has been! At one point it seemed that U Mumba was clawing back into the contest but Haryana, once it gained the lead, was just too good for the Mumbai franchise.

26-27 Abhishek Singh has picked up a point. What is more important is that the leader of the opposition Dharmaraj Cheralathan is back on the bench.

25-27 It felt like Sandeep Narwal had a point there but he has failed to tag any of the defenders. The official timeout of two minutes has been taken.

25-26 Haryana Steelers asks for a review after Athul steals a bonus point. But in vain!

23-26 U Mumba inflicts an All Out! Selvamani to the bench!

20-25 Oh what a miss! Sandeep Narwal comes out with an interesting strategy. And he has got Dharmaraj Cheralathan yet again. The other defenders were nowhere close to his rescue.

17-25 Another Super Tackle! The match is slipping out of Mumba's hands now as Athul MS finds himself pinned to the mat.

17-23 We have a Super Tackle! Ravi Kumar helps Haryana extend the lead taking the side's points to 23. A six-point deficit with nine minutes to go. Will U Mumba be able to close in on the Steelers?

17-21 The bonus is available as Chand Singh walks in. But what a blunder from Surinder! There was absolutely no need to go for that diving ankle hold as Chand was already too far out.

14-18 Surinder again pulls off a wonderful block to send Naveen back to the bench. Thanks to his efforts, U Mumba is slowly but steadily making its way back into the game.

12-18 Vikas Kandola did anticipate Surinder coming in, but it was already too late. A wonderful block comes in the nick of time, while Kandola devoted all his attention to the left corner.

9-17 A Do or Die situation and Abhishek Singh will be U Mumba's raider. He did not start today and he wouldn't have wanted to walk in with so much pressure building up already. But Haryana doesn't mind the bonus. Absolutely no efforts to stop the point.

8-17 Vinay picks up one point with a running hand touch. At one point it felt as if he was running into the lobbies but the replay shows it is all well and good.

8-16  at HALF-TIME: Arjun Deshwal loses his balance as his momentum carries him into the lobbies. He knew it straightaway.

Mumbai, which started off strongly, suddenly appears to have lost its way. Now the Steelers instead are appearing to be running away with the game, with Vikas Kandola bagging six points. Steelers have even upped their defence and unlike last night they have already bagged four tackle points.

8-13 ALL OUT! The first one today. Vikas Kandola gets rid of the dangerous Fazel Atrachali as well.

8-9 Excellently done! Vikas Kandola walks in and targets Surinder. Surinder, who otherwise has one of the best records against Kandola fails to hold the raider back here. A foolish move to go out alone without any support from his teammates, more so because the super tackle was on.

8-8 HARYANA STEELERS SUBSTITUTION: Naveen goes out, Vinay comes in.

8-7 U Mumba picks up a super tackle, the first of the match.  Sandeep Narwal combines well with Fatrachali to pick two points.

6-6 A Do or Die raid for Haryana and Naveen would be the man. Why would Athul want to go for that? It is the raider on whom all the pressure is and there was no need for Athul to venture out sans support.

4-1 Prashanth Kumar Rai comes in for a Do or Die raid. There is a bit of hesitation as Rai tries to go deeper into the opposition end but as we have already seen the U Mumba defence has been vicious today.

3-1 Arjun Deshwal has been gifted two points by the Haryana defence. There was no need for an interception there.

1-0 The cover Harendra comes in early to floor Vikas Kandola. That will be the first point for U Mumba.

And the match is underway. Arjun Deshwal to start the proceedings for U Mumba.
