Shogo Nonomura of Japan and Angelina Melnikova of Russia won the men's and women's gold medal in the British leg of the FIG’s 2018 All-around World Cup series in Artistic Gymnastics in Birmingham.
Nogomura won the title with a score of 84.797.
Russia's Nikita Nagornyy took the silver with a score of 84.731 and host Britain's James Hall won the all-round bronze with a tally of 83.531. This is the first World Cup of the year in the All-Round category as part of FIG's World Cup series 2017-2020 in a lead up to the Olympics.
In the women's all-round event, Angelina Melnikova of Russia won the gold, while Margzetta Frazier of the United States took the silver medal. Great Britain's Alice Kinsella won the bronze. Melnikova is a 2016 European champion in the team event, and 2017 European champion in the floor exercise. She won the team silver for Russia in the 2016 Summer Olympics.
Rio Olympics bronze medallist Amy Tinkler of Britain was due to compete but was injured during the warm-up.
