Rashmee, Maheshwari shoot identical rounds at shotgun World Cup

Rashmee and Maheshwari found themselves in the 16th and 17th spots with their total of 69, in a field of 71 shooters.

The former national champion Rashmee Rathore and the reigning national champion Maheshwari Chauhan shot identical rounds of 22, 24 and 23 to be close to the leading bunch in women’s skeet in the shotgun World Cup in Al Ain, UAE, on Saturday.

With Andri Eleftheriou of Cyprus being the sole leader with 74, Rashmee and Maheshwari found themselves in the 16th and 17th spots with their total of 69, in a field of 71 shooters.

The third Indian shooter Ganemat Sekhon shot 21, 23 and 22 for the 36th spot with 66. Two more rounds will be followed by the final for the top six.
