CCI-JSW squash: Tandon, Malhotra register wins

While Ramit Tandon and Vikram Malhotra registered comfortable wins, Aditya Jagtap lost to Egypt's Karim El Hammamy.

India’s Ramit Tandon defeated England’s Joshua Masters in straight games and Vikram Malhotra beat Saudi Arabian Mazen Gamal in four games in the first round of the $ 70,000 CCI International JSW Indian Squash Circuit 2019 at the CCI squash courts on Tuesday.

However, Egypt’s Karim El Hammamy overcame India’s  Aditya Jagtap  in an 84 minute five-game thriller with a scoreline 8-11, 10-12, 11-7, 13-11, 11-7 .

The 2014 team Asian Games gold medalist, Harinder Pal Singh Sandhu withdrew from his first round match against England’s Ben Coleman because of an injury.
