The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, watched from the Royal Box as Wimbledon royalty Serena Williams marched into yet another final and Angelique Kerber was in a rush to watch Germany in the semifinals of Euro 2016 after beating Venus Williams

Defending champion Serena Williams put on a Centre Court exhibition for The Duchess, who sparkled in a yellow dress alongside other famous faces on a glorious day at the All England Club.

The World No. 1 took only 48 minutes to dismantle Elena Vesnina 6-2, 6-0 and move just one victory away from equalling Steffi Graf's Open-Era record of 22 major titles.

Australian Open champion Kerber reached her first Wimbledon final by seeing off Serena's sister, Venus, 6-4, 6-4 and the German turned her attention to watching her compatriots take on hosts France in the last four of the European Championship.

Bee Gee Barry Gibb was also present to witness Williams and Kerber stay alive in the singles tournament.

PRINCE GEORGE STARTING EARLY

The Duchess revealed to Greg Rusedski that her son Prince George has already started playing tennis at the age of two as she enjoyed an afternoon in the sun at SW19.

Serena took the opportunity to include The Duchess in a Snapchat clip when they chatted before the first semi-final on yet another day to savour for the legendary American.

SERENA SWITCHES OFF FOR SEMIFINAL MASTERCLASS

Top seed Serena casually turned her mobile phone off before rising from her chair to dial in on Centre Court. There was no answer from a startled Vesnina, who was taken apart in a flash and was not able to phone a friend as she was subjected to a brutal defeat.

Serena added insult to injury by combining with Venus to beat Vesnina again in the women's doubles quarterfinals later in the day.

KERBER ENTHUSIASM FOR SEMIFINAL

Kerber downed Venus with a clinical display and can now look forward to facing Serena in another showdown this weekend.

BEE GEE GIBB WATCHES SERENA AND KERBER WIN AGAIN

Bee Gee Barry Gibb took in afternoon at the tennis at the All England Club and it was a case of you win again for Serena and Kerber.

Gibb joined Coldplay on the main stage at Glastonbury to perform last month, but it was down to the best women on the grass at Wimbledon to strike the right notes on this occasion.
