John Isner continued his winning run as he claimed the Atlanta Open title for the fourth time on Sunday.

The American sent down 23 aces to battle past countryman Ryan Harrison 7-6 (8-6), 7-6 (9-7) in the final.

It marked the fourth time Isner has won the Atlanta title, to go with three runner-up finishes, while it was his 12th ATP World Tour crown.

For Isner, it also extended his winning streak to eight matches, following on from his Newport title success, a period during which he has not dropped a set.

Isner saved a set point in the first-set tie-break against Harrison before being broken in the second game of the second set.

However, Harrison was unable to consolidate the break and squandered another set point in the tie-break, Isner coming from 7-6 down to secure his win.

The final was Harrison's second of the year, but he could not add to his Memphis Open title.
