9.35 am: Ashwini and Sikki must now win both their games to progress.

9.35 am: The Indian pair lose the first game 17-21. The South Koreans upped the ante after being deadlocked at 16-all and the Indians had no answers to the fury of Chang and Jung.

9.28 am: There is nothing to separate the pairs in the first game. They are going neck-to-neck at 16-16.

Ashwini Ponnappa and Sikki Reddy are on the courts. They will play against Ye Na Chang and Kyung Eun Jung of South Korea.

Manu Attri and B Sumeeth Reddy beat Shem Goh and Wee Kiong Tan 2-1 (15-21, 23-21, 21-19).
