Table-topper Uttarakhand will be hoping to maintain its winning run in the Ranji Trophy Plate group, when it takes on Meghalaya in a fifth round fixture on Thursday.
With 27 points from four games, Uttarakhand has won all its fixtures so far and the Rajat Bhatia-led squad will have a tough job at hand against Meghalaya, which is placed second with 19 points.

The home team will rely on its skipper Bhatia, while Meghalaya has a consistent performer in Gurinder Singh. The allrounder is the highest wicket-taker of the season so far, with 32 scalps. Ahead of the big match, Meghalaya coach, Sanath Kumar, has asked the boys to keep things simple. “They should not be worried. I have asked them to take it like any other game and not think too much about the opponent,” Sanath Kumar said.
In another match, Bihar takes on Arunachal Pradesh at the Moin-ul-Haq Stadium in Patna. While Bihar has seven points from three games, Arunachal is reeling with three points from as many matches.
At the Nagaland Cricket Stadium in Sovima, Dimapur, Nagaland clashes against Manipur, while Puducherry will be up against Sikkim at the Krishnagiri Stadium in Wayanad.
