South Africa star Dale Steyn has been taken to hospital with a shoulder injury suffered during the first Test against Australia.
Steyn pulled up during his 13th over of the match at the WACA on day two on Friday clutching his right shoulder. South Africa confirmed he had aggravated a right shoulder injury and would be taken to hospital.
Steyn suffered a serious shoulder injury late last year and the latest setback is a huge blow for the tourist.
The paceman had removed David Warner for 97 as Australia fell to 181-4 at lunch in response to South Africa's 242.
