Delhi Daredevils' batting line-up looks good on paper, but it has not lived upto the expectations. Just in the last game, DD was bowled out for 67 by Kings XI Punjab (KXIP). So when it hosted Sunrisers Hyderabad on Tuesday, little were people surprised when DD's top-order couldn't build a strong partnership to chase down a challenging target of 186.

However, cometh the hour, cometh the man - Corey Anderson. Before today's unbeaten 41, Anderson's last three games were - 18, 2 and 0.

However, on Tuesday, he took time before he let himself free. Somewhere around 17th over he decided to go big but calculated his shots and waited for the opportunities to come to him. Patience played a role.

His performance under pressure proved why he is a valuable part of the Delhi Daredevils team. It is innings like this that will help DD going forward.
