Mutafizur Rahman, the left-arm seamer for Sunrisers, also took two wickets.
Aaron Finch played a lone hand of 51 not out off 42 balls to provide some substance to Lions' total.
David Warner hit two sixes and a four in his 17-ball 24 at the top of the order.
