Rising Pune Supergiant batsman Manoj Tiwary on Thursday praised M. S. Dhoni for his inputs that have contributed to the team in the ongoing Indian Premier League.

Speaking ahead of the match against Delhi Daredevils here, Tiwary said, “There is nothing that I am going to tell you because it is evident on the television. He (Dhoni) has been helping really well and helping (Steve) Smith as well. Being the wicketkeeper he has the best possible position on the field to guide the players. He also adjusts minor positions of players on the field because he has a 360 degree view of the field.”

Tiwary added, “He manoeuvres the fielders because not everything can be looked after by Smith who is under lot of pressure on the field. It is not humanly possible to look at each and everything. Mahi bhai has been very co-operative.”

Describing Smith as someone “who does not talk much off the field,” Tiwary noted, “He is pretty reserved off the field but he is pretty aggressive on the field. If he has to convey a message, the message is pretty loud and clear.”
