MI will look up to the experienced Lasith Malinga to tame the SRH batsmen, especially Warner

In its third match of the Indian Premier League (IPL), Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) travels to the home of Mumbai Indians (MI), with hopes of continuing its winning run in the league.

The wicket at the Wankhede Stadium has mostly supported the batsmen and on Wednesday it will be a battle between SRH’s batting and MI’s bowling.

SRH has had an all-round show in the IPL so far. David Warner, the captain, will look to continue his blazing form. In the previous match, Warner starred with the bat, scoring an unbeaten 76 off 45 balls. His innings included six fours and four sixes.

MI will look up to the experienced Lasith Malinga to tame the SRH batsmen, especially Warner. A day after registering a hat-trick for Sri Lanka against Bangladesh in a T20I, Malinga boarded a flight to join his MI team-mates. Two days later, the first ball that was launched from his hand was a yorker. Malinga picked up two wickets from his four overs and had a reasonable economy rate of nine in the match.

The advantage lies with Malinga, having played the last match on the same wicket. It will be interesting to see how Warner tackles the vintage Malinga.
