Mark Waugh will no longer continue as an Australian selector, once his contract ends in August. The decision comes after the former cricketer decided to get more involved in television commentary.

A selector since 2014, the 52-year-old has recently signed on as part of the commentary team of Fox Sports, which recently acquired the rights to cricket in Australia.

He, however, will be choosing the team for the away tours of England and Zimbabwe in July and August.

Waugh is also part of the IPL commentary team for host broadcaster Star Sports.
