Not Rahul Dravid. India’s U-19 team will travel to England with a new coach. Former India batsman W. V. Raman will accompany the India colts for their tour to England as the coach.

The team, after a preparatory camp in Bengaluru, will arrive in Mumbai on Friday and depart for London in the early hours of Saturday.

Rajesh Verma of the Jharkhand Cricket Association is the manager of the team. The BCCI CEO Rahul Johri confirmed Raman’s selection as coach.

Appointed as coach of the junior India teams for two years, Dravid is scheduled to travel with the India 'A' team to South Africa.

Raman, who has been with the National Cricket Academy, has had a successful career in coaching. Having worked with the India U-19 side as a coach for a long time, Raman is well-acquainted with the team. He has worked as the coach of the Tamil Nadu and Bengal Ranji Trophy teams in the past.
