Gujarat v Jharkhand in Nagpur

After ending day one at a strong 283 for 3, Gujarat failed to build up, losing quick wickets and finishing at 390. Jharkhand, watched by Mahendra Singh Dhoni, then batted solidly to finish the day at 214 for 5.

Mumbai v Tamil Nadu in Rajkot

Mumbai’s march was restricted to 171 for four at the end of the day’s proceedings at the Saurashtra Cricket Association stadium, after winding up Tamil Nadu’s first innings for 305.
