Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated gymnast B. Aruna Reddy on winning the World Cup bronze medal in Melbourne recently.

In a letter addressed to Aruna, PM Modi said, "I am delighted to learn of your stupendous feat at the World Cup gymnastics. Your splendid effort has won the hearts of the sport-lovers all round the world."

"Being the first Indian to win a medal at the World Cup gymnastics, you are a leader who has created a new path of achievement for others to emulate. The bronze medal you won will shine bright in the annals of India's sporting history and inspire many women, especially little girls, to dream big," said the letter.

"The entire nation is proud of your achievement. I am positive that you will continue to excel in the field of gymnastics, winning many more laurels for the nation," PM Modi wrote to the gymnast.
