Youth Olympics finalist Yashaswini Singh Deswal asserted her class by winning the air pistol gold by equalling the world record in the Junior World Shooting Championship in Suhl, Germany.

The 20-year-old Yashaswini qualified on top with a score of 585, and equalled the world record of 235.9 in the 24-shot final to beat Kim Woori of Korea by 4.1 points for the gold.
