China ITF: Ankita Raina in doubles quarterfinals

Ankita Raina made the doubles quarterfinals of the $60,000 ITF women’s tennis tournament in China, in partnership with Kimberley Zimmermann of Belgium on Tuesday.

Ankita and the Belgian beat Valentini Grammatikopoulou of Greece and Polina Monova of Russia 1-6, 6-3, 10-7.

Doubles (pre-quarterfinals): Nao Hibino (Jpn) & Danka Kovinic (Mne) bt Jing-Jing Lu (Chn) & Prarthana Thombare 7-5, 6-2; Kimberley Zimmerman (Bel) & Ankita Raina bt Valentini Grammatikopoulou (Gre) & Polina Monova (Rus) 1-6, 6-3, 10-7.

$15,000 ITF women, Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt
