Leander Paes loses Ilkley Challenger doubles final

Leander Paes in partnership with Marcus Daniell of New Zealand was beaten 6-3, 6-4 by the top seeds Santiago Gonzalez of Mexico and Aisam-Ul-Haq Qureshi of Pakistan in the doubles final of the €137,560 Challenger tennis tournament in Ilkley, England.

The title fetched 125 ATP points and €7,870 for the winners, while the runners-up collected 75 points and € 4,570.

It was the second final loss of the season for Leander after the one at the Da Nang Tennis Open in Vietnam at the start of the season.
