Nick Young has not had a great start to 2019.

The NBA veteran is accused of hitting a man in the groin, then stealing the man's phone outside a Los Angeles car wash, according to TMZ Sports .

As per the report, the alleged victim was trying to snap a picture on his phone of Young against his wishes on January 4. Young reportedly got angry and punched the man in between his legs, then stole his phone. No charges have been filed in the incident, according to the report.

Run-ins with law

It's not the first time Young has had run-ins with the law. In August, 2018, he was arrested on obstruction of justice charges after he was stopped by LAPD on a traffic violation. He also was sued in 2016 for allegedly assaulting a man during church basketball game.

The alleged car-wash attack comes less than two weeks after Young was waived by Denver Nuggets, just 20 days after the team signed him. He appeared in only four games.

Before that, Young was unsigned this season, despite playing with the NBA title-winning Warriors last season.
