Prof. Shetty given three-month extension

Prof. Ratnakar Shetty’s latest appointment will be taken up at a forthcoming special general meeting of the BCCI.

Prof. Shetty has been in-charge of women’s cricket.

The acting secretary of the BCCI, Amitabh Choudhary, has given a three-month extension - up to June 30, 2018 - to Prof. Ratnakar Shetty, whose previous term ended on March 31, 2018.

Choudhary has conveyed to Prof. Shetty that he has the concurrence of the other two office bearers, acting president, C.K.Khanna and treasurer, Anirudh Chaudhry and also unnamed individuals associated with the running of the BCCI and the IPL.

Prof. Shetty’s latest appointment will be taken up at a forthcoming special general meeting of the BCCI.
