David Warner could have achieved another IPL milestone, but for the stunning catch by his Australian team-mate Steve Smith, to dismiss him for 37.

In Sunrisers Hyderabad's match against Rajasthan Royals on Saturday, Warner was chasing the record of scoring the sixth consecutive half-century in IPL. With Warner dismissed on 37, Virender Sehwag and Jos Buttler still have the record to their names.

Warner, in the past five games, had scores of 57, 67, 50, 51 and an unbeaten 71. In IPL 2019, Warner has seven half-centuries and a century. He is currently the Orange cap holder with 612 runs.

Cut to the brilliant catch by Smith that denied Warner his sixth successive fifty. Oshane Thomas gets some extra bounce, Warner doesn't get the timing and Smith running from mid-off dives full stretch to pull off a blinder.
