Dhananjaya de Silva celebrates his hundred against India

Dhananjaya de Silva has been called up to the Sri Lanka squad after Kusal Perera was ruled out of the remainder of the tri-nation series.

Kusal suffered a side strain while batting in Sunday's crucial victory over Zimbabwe in Dhaka and has been told to rest.

That opens the door for Dhananjaya to link up with the squad, the top-order batsman in contention to add to his 17 one-day international appearances.

Dhananjaya made an unbeaten century as Sri Lanka batted out a draw in the third Test against India in Delhi.

Captain Angelo Mathews will miss the rest of the series against Zimbabwe and Bangladesh and is a doubt for the Test series against the Tigers due to a hamstring injury.
