Karnataka beats Rajasthan: Ronit More and Krishnappa Gowtham starred with the ball picking three-wicket hauls as Karnataka defended a small total of 208 runs to beat Rajasthan by 60 runs. The Ashok Menaria-led Rajasthan collapsed chasing a total of 209 runs to win as sans YB Kothari, who scored an 81-ball 49, none of the other batsmen took the responsibility pf the chase as Rajasthan was bowled out for 148 in 41.1 overs.

Rajasthan 114/6 vs Karnataka: Rajasthan is committing harakiri at the moment and has almost botched up a small run chase as it has lost six wickets for just 114 runs on board. Karnataka bowlers have kept their team in the hunt with V Kouship denying YB Kothari a half-century as he dismisses the opener for 49. Krishnappa Gowtham packs off Kamlesh Nagarkoti and Karnataka is favourite to win the match and book a place in the knockout stage.

Rajasthan 80/4 vs Karnataka: Ronit More with two quick wickets has brought Karnataka back in the game as skipper Ashok Menaria and Aditya Garhwal depart. Opener YB Kothari is unbeaten on 40 off 62 balls and is joined by wicket-keeper KS Rathore in chase of 209.

Tamil Nadu 43/1 vs Kerala: Rain Stops Play and Tamil Nadu has been set a revised target of 276 runs in 47 overs. Tamil Nadu at the end of 7 overs is 43 for the loss of one wicket and needs 233 runs to win the match. Vaisakh Chandran has provided the breakthrough by dismissing Sai Sudharsan as N Jagadeesan is accompanied by Baba Aparajith.

Rajasthan 35/2 vs Karnataka: Good start from Karnataka bowlers as V Koushik and Vidwath Kaverappa struck early to dismiss Abhijeet Tomar and Mahipal Lomror. Rajasthan in trouble in the chase of a paltry 209. Skipper Ashok Meneria joins hands with YB Kothari for the rebuilding work.

Kerala 287/8 vs Tamil Nadu: Vathsal scored a brilliant unbeaten 95 off 126 balls with the help of six boundaries as Kerala posted a challenging 287/8 against Tamil Nadu. The Kerala middle-order batsman was the fulcrum of the Kerala innings first forging a 78-run stand for the fourth wicket with Vishnu Vinod who scored a 51-ball 45 and then a valuable 64-run stand for the seventh wicket with Abdul Bazith who scored a 35-ball 41. Kerala bowlers will walk out confidently knowing they have a score to play with but will need to break through Tamil Nadu’s opening pair of Sai Sudharsan and N Jagadeesan, who have forged century plus partnerships in this edition of the Vijay Hazare Trophy.

Kerala 238/5 vs Tamil Nadu: Vathsal’s half-century has kept Kerala going but the middle-order batsman is fighting a lone battle with an unbeaten 78 off 115 balls as the rest have come and departed rather quickly. With six overs left, Tamil Nadu will look to bowl well and keep Kerala to as minimum as possible to give its batters a comfortable total to chase. By the way, the way N Jagadeesan is batting at the moment, the Tamil Nadu wicket-keeper will fancy any sort of target.

Karnataka 208 all out vs Rajasthan: A Choudhary and S Dhiwan picked up three-wicket hauls as Rajasthan with disciplined bowling attack bowled out Karnataka for 208 in 48.4 overs. Nikin Jose with an 81-ball 67 and Shreyas Gopal with a 72-ball 57 were the only bright spots in a rather lacklustre batting display by the Mayank Agarwal-led side.

Kerala 170/4 vs Tamil Nadu: Vatshal with an unbeaten half-century has kept Kerala afloat as he along with Vishnu Vinod forged an important 78-run stand for the fourth wicket. Just when the partnership was prospering Sonu Yadav trapped Vinod to leave Kerala four down. Vathsal has an opportunity to score a century and help Kerala post a good total on board but needs a partner at the other end. Tamil Nadu in control of proceedings.

Karnataka 174/6 vs Rajasthan: S Sharma and S Dhiwan share four wickets among themselves as Karnataka suffers a collapse as it finds itself six down for just 172 runs on the board. Shreyas Gopal is the lone fighter with an unbeaten 36 as Krishnappa Gowtham walks out to the middle after the fall of BR Sharath and M Bhandage. Rajasthan is in complete control with 10 overs more to go.

Kerala 122/3 vs Tamil Nadu: Tamil Nadu has kept a tight leash on the scoring as Vathshal and Vishnu Vinod are finding it difficult to score boundaries with the run-rate hovering just around 5 rpo. The duo has forged an unbeaten 33-run partnership off 60 deliveries and the bowling has been good from Tamil Nadu.

Karnataka 142/4 vs Rajasthan: Nikin Jose falls after scoring a half-century as the middle-order batsman departs for an 81-ball 67 with A Choudhary taking the wicket. Shreyas Gopal has hit three boundaries and is joined by keeper B Sharath and the duo needs to build a partnership and give the innings a much needed impetus.

Kerala 90/3 vs Tamil Nadu: Kerala is in a spot of bother as R Sai Kishore and Sonu Yadav have dismissed Rohan Kunnummal and Sachin Baby. The in-form Kunnummal falls for a 26-ball 39 while skipper Sachin scored just 4 off 13 balls. Tamil Nadu is ahead with wickets at regular intervals. Vatshal is joined by wicket-keeper Vishnu Vinod and it’s important the duo builds a partnership.

Karnataka 93/3 vs Rajasthan: Mahipal Lomror has castled Manish Pandey and the left-arm spinner has broken the 62-run stand between Pandey and Jose. An important wicket for Rajasthan as Karnataka was just recovering from the early jolts. Meanwhile, Nikin Jose has hit a timely unbeaten half-century and will hold the key for Karnata. Rajasthan has kept a lid on the scoring as the run-rate is just 3.93 rpo at the end of 23 overs. Shreyas Gopal is out in the middle.

Karnataka 70/2 vs Rajasthan: Nikin Jose and Manish Pandey have kept the Rajasthan attack at bay with an unbeaten 43-run partnership and the good part is it has come off 47 balls and this is exactly the recovery that Karnataka was looking for from the experienced pair. Manish is due a big knock and today is a golden opportunity for the India international to showcase his class.

Kerala 50/1 vs Tamil Nadu: M Mohammed strikes to remove opener P Rahul and breaks the 44-run opening stand. Important wicket from Tamil Nadu’s point of view as Vatshal joins Rahul Kunnummal. Good opening stand comes to an end and Tamil Nadu will look to make further inroads.

Kerala 19/0 vs Tamil Nadu: Sandeep Warrier and M Mohammed have started proceedings for Tamil Nadu with the new ball as Kerala openers Rahul P and Rohan Kunnummal have given their side a sedate start. Important clash for both teams in the final group stage match and they will be eyeing to enter the knockout stage of the tournament.

Karnataka 27/2 vs Rajasthan: The top-order wobble continues for Karnataka as Rajasthan has made early inroads by dismissing both the Karnataka openers, R Samarth and skipper Mayank Agarwal. Mayank was in good touch with a half-century in the previous game against Sikkim but hasn’t been at his best all through the tournament. S Nikin Jose and Manish Pandey are in the middle but Rajasthan has kept Karnataka under check with the scorecard moving at a snail’s pace at a current run rate of 2.53. Rajasthan making most of winning the toss as S Dhiwan has picked two wickets.
