Kerala Blasters FC has signed Senegalese defensive midfielder Ouzin Ndoye for this season’s Indian Super League, the Kochi-based club announced on Tuesday. It also confirmed that English striker Michael Chopra, who played in Kochi in the first edition, will be back this season.

The 24-year-old Ouzin Ndoye, who plays at both defensive midfield and centre-back positions, started his career in Belgium in 2013 before moving to Kazakhstan in 2015. He has made 74 appearances in his club career and has scored six goals.
