Emami East Bengal registered its first win in he Durand Cup with braces from Cleiton Silva and Sumit Passi. Though its is out of the contest, it finishes its campaign on a high.

A last minute duel between Diaz ad East Bengals backline sees the forward lose the battle as East Bengal clears the ball out of its half. It is almost there in this fixture. This will be its first win in the 2022 Durand Cup.


East Bengal trying to run the clock down, with Kamaljit Singh taking all the time int the world to take the goal kick. And the play that follows sees Mumbai City FC express its frustration visibly with Alberto Noguera getting into the book for a rash challenge.

Mumbai City FC will look to extend its unbeaten streak when it faces Emami East Bengal in Kolkata on Saturday.

East Bengal is without a win in the Durand Cup so far and comes into the match after a 0-1 loss to arch-rival ATK Mohun Bagan in the Kolkata derby. It has two draws and one loss in three games and is out of contention for a place in the quarterfinals.

In its last match of the tournament, it will be a good opportunity for head coach Stephen Constantine to show what his team can deliver before the Indian Super League season begins next month.
