Mumbai FC in talks with Kattimani and Thoi Singh

Kattimani is currently a Dempo SC player, but with the team pulling out of the up-coming I-League season, it is highly likely that a loan or a permanent transfer will take place.

The winger, who played with champion Bengaluru FC last season, on loan from Chennaiyin, will offer pace and relentless running on the right-flank.

I-League club Mumbai FC is in talks to sign Indian Super League (ISL) stars Laxmikant Kattimani and Thoi Singh, confirmed sources.

Goalkeeper Kattimani, who played for FC Goa in the ISL, will bring experience between the posts for Santosh Kashyap's team. The 27-year-old is currently a Dempo SC player, but with >the team pulling out of the up-coming I-League season , it is highly likely that a loan or a permanent transfer will take place.

Thoi Singh was on of the stars for Chennaiyin FC when it won the ISL title last year. The 26-year-old from Manipur had an off-colour season this time around though, after an injury and a fall-out with coach Marco Materazzi kept him in the bench. The winger, who played with champion Bengaluru FC last season, on loan from Chennaiyin, will offer pace and relentless running on the right-flank. The versatile midfielder can also operate in the central midfield and will definitely offer more options for coach Kashyap.

The Mumbai-based club has also made attempts to woo former Mohammedan Sporting striker David Sunday to the team. The Nigerian footballer is currently a free agent and will undergo trials at the club before a deal is struck.
