Bengaluru FC goalkeeper Gurpreet Singh Sandhu has signed a five-year contract extension with the club tying him to the club until 2023, the Indian Super League side announced on Tuesday.
The India international was signed by the the Blues after a three-year spell with Norwegian side Stabaek FC in August last year.

The 26-year-old became the No.1 choice between the posts and has led the club to its first ever ISL final in its maiden appearance. In the 18 appearances during the 2017-18 season, Gurpreet has managed eight clean sheets as the club finished top of the points table in the league phase.
“It is a privilege to be a part of Bengaluru FC and I have always wanted to play here. I respect this club a lot and being part of a club that represents India in Asia is very important to me.
"I want to be a part of this club’s future, and the fact that they offered me the biggest contract any Indian footballer has been offered shows faith, which I hope to repay with my performances," said Gurpreet.
Club CEO Mustafa Ghouse said, "As a club we have always believed in longevity and we know that we have extended the contract of the best goalkeeper in the country. Bengaluru FC’s ambitions match those of Gurpreet and we’re very happy to have him here for what will hopefully be five more successful years.”
