Brazilian legend Ronaldinho provided Samba Magic as Delhi Dragons outwitted Ryan Giggs’ Mumbai Warriors 4-3 in the opening match of the Premier Futsal season 2, at the NSCI Dome here on Friday.

The 37-year-old Dragons captain scored all four goals for his side, and they came in the opening three quarters of the five-a-side match.

Ronaldinho opened the scoring for the Delhi side in the first quarter, but Rico Zulkarnain levelled the scores for the host. Warriors was a tad unlucky in not finding the back of the net on more than once in the first 30 minutes of play.

The teams went into the second quarter 1-1, but from thereon it was the Ronaldinho show with the Brazilian entertaining the crowd with three more goals.

Warriors’ Lucas Francini and skipper Ryan Giggs did bridge the gap in the scoreline with a goal apiece to make the last two minutes interesting. The former Manchester United winger even missed a direct free kick in the first minute of the fourth quarter.
