Bengaluru Bulls is now eight points clear of Patna Pirates and  sits pretty at top of Zone B, while Tamil Thalaivas continue to reel at the bottom. The Bulls were too hot and strong for the Thalaivas tonight and it was a great victory to finally settle down at home.

SECOND HALF

36-22 THAT'S IT! BENGALURU BAGS ITS FIRST WIN AT HOME! What a handsome margin of victory. A good comback after last night's disappointment!

36-22 AJAY THAKUR BITES THE DUST ONCE AGAIN!

34-22 Vimal Raj is floored and Thalaivas look helpless in the raiding department without Ajay Thakur. On the other hand, Bulls skipper gets to his Super10

32-21 ALL-OUT AND WITH THIS TAMIL'S CHANCES OF MAKING A COMEBACK IS DONE AND DUSTED!

29-21 TOO HOT TO HANDLE! MAHENDRA RAJPUT WITH A FIERCE DASH!

27-21 AMIT STRIKES AGAIN! THIS TIME, D. PRADAP IS HIS VICTIM!

26-21 CAN'T RUN TOO CLOSE TO AMIT! Jasvir Singh heads to the bench after an unsuccessful do-or-die raid.

25-21 Just six and a half minutes to and once again, Pawan is shoved to the floor by Anil Kumar. Brilliant stuff by Anil. He is the lone warrior for the Thalaivas defence. Six tackle points of the night.

24-20 TWO do-or-die raids, one for each team. Ajay Thakur went in first and got a touch point for the Thalaivas and then Manjeet Chhillar floors Kashiling. The waiting game for Tamil works in its favour. It's just a four-point game now.

24-18 Final quarter and Tamil trails by six points.

22-14 First Ajay and not Anil. Bengaluru sends the main raider and defender of Tamil back to the bench.

20-14 Amit gets rid of Ajay Thakur with a strong ankle hold!

18-13 HIGH5 FOR ANIL KUMAR AS HE GETS THE BETTER OF PAWAN FOR THE THIRD TIME TONIGHT!

FIRST HALF

17-12 The first half comes an end and Anil Kumar, this time, sends Rohit Kumar to the bench. He gets his fourth tackle point of the match, the same number as the team's total. He has done a stellar job to narrow the gap. Is this the start of good things to come for the Thalaivas? We'll find out shortly.

17-11 Jasvir Singh is shoved aside and is sent out of bounds before he could get a touch past the midline.

16-11 Pawan seems to struggling in the second half of the first 20 minutes. The Thalaivas' defence gets the better of him yet again. It holds back Kashiling Adake in the next raid. Thalaivbas beginning to come back into the match slowly.

16-9 Ashish Sangwan is headed to the bench, courtesy a low touch point by Ajay Thakur.

15-8 Do-or-die raid and Sukesh Hegde is held up short of the midline! For a moment, the raider was the favourite to get back, but he has to do with a bonus point for now.

13-7 NOW A TACKLE POINT FOR TAMIL! First positive signs shown by Tamil Thalaivas. Good intent and equally good execution to send Pawan back to the bench.

13-6 Ajay Thakur pulls one back for the Thalaivas by tapping Pawan Sehrawat out. He needs to do that more often to give itself a chance to even come close to the Bulls tonight.

13-5 Skipper gets the left corner out with a sizzling Scorpion kick.

12-5 Sukesh Hegde and Manjeet Chhillar sent back in one raid. It's not hard to guess that it's none other than Pawan Sehrawat!

10-3 ALL-OUT! IT WAS A MATTER OF TIME BEFORE BENGALURU ENFORCED AND ALL-OUT ON TAMIL THALAIVAS! SHEER DOMINATION AND IT HAS THE UPPER HAND FOR SURE!

7-3 Sukesh Hegde cannot escape the clutches of the Bulls' defence. No point for him in the do-or-die raid.

6-2 DO-DIE-RAID, BUT NO PRESSURE! Rohit Kumar crosses the midline with ease and takes Jasvir Singh along.

5-2 200 UP FOR PAWAN SEHRAWAT! HE IS ALREADY OFF TO A FLYER TONIGHT AND EXPECT FROM HIM!

3-1 Pawan Sehrawat raids successfully and Ajay Thakur concedes a self-out point! Early advantage for Bengaluru.

1-1 Both the skippers bag one raid point to get the match started! Rohit Kumar from Bengaluru and Ajay Thakur from Tamil Thalaivas

The atmosphere is about to get as hotter as home team Bengaluru Bulls takes on Tamil Thalaivas at the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex in Pune on Saturday. The two teams currently reside on opposite ends of the standings in Zone B, with Bengaluru Bulls at the summit and Tamil Thalaivas in sixth.

Will Tamil Thalaivas upset the Bulls today or will the Bulls continue to reign at the top? Let's get right into the action.

IT'S TIME FOR THE SOUTHERN DERBY. YES, BENGALURU BULLS WILL NOW TAKE ON THE TAMIL THALAIVAS.

Well, the scoreline says it all. A defensive masterclass by U Mumba aided by some brave and commanding raiding. Dabang Delhi was completely outplayed in all departments tonight. Rohit Rana and Surender Singh were at the heart of U Mumba's defence with skipper, Fazal Atrachali chipping in with some smart tackles! Sheer class from him. The raiding department, yet again, came alive by some superb raiding by Siddharth Desai, followed by Rohit Baliyan.  A comprehensive victory, indeed for U Mumba.

SECOND HALF

39-23 BACK TO THE TOP WITH A RESOUNDING WIN! Abhishek Singh's two-point raid brings a terrific night for U Mumba to an end and propels back to the top of Zone A, ahead of Gujarat Fortunegiants.

35-21 Pawan Kadian leaps over Fazal Atrchali, who was founded stranded on the mat while attempting an ankle hold! That's a good point, but barely makes a difference to the scoreline.

COMING UP, THE SOUTHERN DERBY! Pawan Sehrawat vs Ajay Thakur! Bengaluru Bulls vs Tamil Thalaivas. Don't go anywhere!

34-19 U Mumba's Siddharth Desai is just a point away from his Super10 of the night. Just three minutes left.

34-18 PRESENCE OF MIND AT ITS BEST! SIDDHARTH, YOU BEAUTY! He gets two touch points and squeezes his way out of a double block.

32-17 Fazal says, main hoon na! He contains Naveen Kumar on his own! Just goes to show the kind of night the two teams have had.

30-16 2 points on the trot for Delhi. Two consecutive raid-points by Pawan Kadian. Less than nine minutes to go and Mumbai are on course for a comfortable win.

30-14 As cool as a cucumber, Rohit Baliyan! Super smooth with a sliding toe touch, to say the least and sends Pahal back to the bench.

29-13 One point after another! U Mumba simply running away with it.

24-11 Not this time for Desai! He attempts a hand touch, but found himself too deep in the Delhi half. Also, HE HAS NOW AMASSED 150 RAID-POINTS THIS PKL SEASON! SENSATIONAL!

24-10 Fazal Atrachali hoists Chandran Ranjit and shoves him to the side! Defensive master-class by U Mumba.

23-9 ALL-OUT! SECOND OF THE MATCH! ABSOLUTE CARNAGE! Dabang Delhi seems to have no answers to defensive U Mumba.

16-9 U Mumba picks up from where it left off in the first half. Another tackle point in the kitty.

FIRST HALF

15-8 HALF-TIME! What a consolidated start by U Mumba and leads by a hefty margin of at the stroke of half-time! Lots to think about and work on for Dabang Delhi.  This may seem like a one-sided contest, but the PANGA isn't over till it's over.

15-8 This is far turning out to be a one-sided contest. Dhanraj with a terrific diving ankle hold floors Pawan Kadian. 40-year-old, what?!

14-6 ALL-OUT! SURENDER SINGH , WITH A TACKLE ON MERAJ SHEYKH, INFLICTS THE FIRST ALL-OUT ON DELHI! 30th all-out of the season by U Mumba this season.

10-6 U MUMBA SHOWS WHAT ITS MADE OF! Abhishek Singh snaps in from the left in position and shoves Pawan Kadian to the side. Just one man left on the at for Dabang Delhi.

9-6 Another mistake from Rajesh Narwal. Delhi would want him to be more cautious otherwise the team will end up gifting the match to U Mumba. Remember, every point counts in a PKL match.

8-6 Substitute Pawan Kadian gets Dharmaraj Cherlathan in the right corner with a sizzling reverse toe touch. Smart! He immediately makes an impact as he plays to his strengths.

7-5 FAZAL ATRACHALI IS OFF THE MARK! Last time Naveen came in, he took Fazal out. But Fazal gets the better of him this time around.

6-5 Delhi gets one back and holds Siddharth Desai, who has a success rate of 97% in the do-or-die raids.

6-4 Chandran Ranjit in a do-or-die raid and WHAT A TACKLE BY THE COVER DEFENDER! ROHIT LAUNCHES HIMSELF ONTO RANJIT! He takes him down single-handedly, almost like a wrestler.

5-4 Naveen Kumar, who in his first season of PKL has already racked up 91 points, goes back after an empty raid.

4-4 A hasty tackle by Surender Singh and he pays the price as Naveen Kumar crosses the midline unphased.

3-3 SIDDHARTH DESAI ARRIVES! He gets rid of Rajesh Narwal with utmost ease. An ankle hold by Narwal was no where close to stopping Desai from crossing the midline.

2-2 Both teams not pick up their first tackle points. Meraj Sheykh was first tackled by Delhi and then Abhishek Singh is contained by U Mumba. Great start by both the teams.

1-1 Ravinder Pahal caught nappiing. He knew Rohit Baliyan attempted two toe touches on him and he was on his radar and yet, he conceded a raid point.

0-1 What a start by Chandran Ranjit! He sends U Mumba skipper, Fazal Atrachali back to the bench.

0-0 Abhishek Singh of U Mumba starts with an empty raid.

0-0 Delhi wins toss and U Mumba to raid first.
