Mithali Raj   -  V. Raju

Mithali Raj, the poster girl of India’s women’s cricket, has achieved a lot in her 19-year-long illustrious career.

Mithali has not only emerged as one of the prolific run-getters of the team, but has also taken Indian cricket to greater heights. Under her captaincy, India reached two World Cup finals — in 2006 and 2017.

In 2018, Mithali became the the highest run-scorer for India in the T20I format, staying ahead of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli.

Mithali scored an unbeaten of 105 just 61 balls in a T20 fixture against Australia A at the Bandra-Kurla Complex in Mumbai. The 105 is the highest T20 score by an Indian woman.

Over the years, she has been the face of Indian women’s cricket team and even now, she continues to be the most sought after batswoman in the circuit.
