The Cricket Club of India (CCI) conferred the honorary life membership to India's women cricketers, Harmanpreet Kaur, Jhulan Goswami and Mithali Raj on Friday.
The membership cards were presented by the Club President Premal Udani and in the presence BCCI GM, Game Development Prof.Ratnakar Shetty and CoA member Diana Edulji.
Ever since reaching the final of the World Cup, India's women's team has done reasonably well--winning in South Africa being another milestone. Even though it had a poor outing against Australia recently, women's cricket has certainly come a long way.
