Former India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni joined the post-match celebrations in the dressing room, after India completed a 3-0 whitewash against South Africa, sealing the last Test by an innings and 202 runs, at the JSCA International Stadium in Ranchi, on Tuesday.
The 38-year-old was often in the news over the previous week after rumours surfaced on social media that Ranchi's favourite son would be attending a match day of the third Test. Dhoni, who led the Test side from 2008 to 2014, however put all speculations to rest on Tuesday.

In a photo shared by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on social media, Dhoni could be seen talking to debutant Shahbaz Nadeem, who also, like the wicketkeeper batsman represents Jharkhand in domestic cricket.
Nadeem shone in the third Test claiming four wickets, which included the final two scalps on the fourth day.
Later, India head coach Ravi Shastri also tweeted a photo with 'Captain Cool' with the caption: 'Great to see a true Indian legend in his den after a fantastic series win.'
Meanwhile, Virat Kohli gave a tongue-in-cheek reply to one of the reporters' query at the post match press conference when the India skipper was asked about Dhoni.
"No, he's here. He is in the change room. Come, say hello!"
