No play was possible in Ongole, where Tamil Nadu still trails Andhra by 94 runs with the fourth day left to play. In Group A, Karantaka strengthened its position against Mumbai by reaching 81 for three in its second innings.

Priyank Panchal made an unbeaten 124 in Gujarat's second innings, taking his team to 187 for one at stumps on day three. At Nagpur, Baroda was 288 for seven at stumps, still trailing Vidarbha's 529 for six dec. in its first innings. In Belagavi, Ronit More took five for 52 to help Karnataka bowl Mumbai out for 205. Odisha recorded a nine-wicket win over Assam in Guwahati, with Rajesh Mohanty taking six for 55.
