It was all over for Madhya Pradesh in the space of 16.5 overs. Chasing a daunting victory target of 343, Madhya Pradesh was bowled out for 35 with pace bowler K.V. Sasikanth producing a dream spell of 8-4-8-6.
This was after Karan Shinde struck a brilliant, unbeaten century on debut in the morning session to help Andhra record a thumping 307-run win in the Ranji Trophy Group-B match at the Holkar Stadium on Wednesday.
Earlier, resuming at the overnight score of 198 for seven, Andhra scored 301 thanks to Shinde's (103 not out, 215b, 16 x 4), who was actually called in as a last-minute addition to the squad for this match.
And, Madhya Pradesh began hot chase with one player short as injured opener Gaurav Yadav could not take field.

Madhya Pradesh collapsed in dramatic fashion from 35 for four, at one stage, to be bowled out without any addition to the score as there were six ducks in all. This was Sasikanth’s third consecutive, five-wicket haul of the season.
With this win Andhra and Madhya Pradesh finished the league with 17 and 24 points respectively from eight games each.
