Thats's it from us for the day, folks. Do join us tomorrow for the first set of quarterfinal action!

And we have our quarterfinal lineups set!

Heartbreak for Uttarakhand after getting most things right in this eliminator against Delhi. Posting 287 under a pressure-game and snapping the Delhi top-order cheaply were commendable works from the plate-division winner. Nitish Rana's 81 kept Delhi in the hunt before he fell with the score reading 146-6 with Delhi needing 141 runs in 17 overs. Wicketkeeper Anuj Rawat and skipper Pradeep Sangwan came in to see off a tricky phase and bashed the Uttarakhand spinners all over the park and Delhi has scripted a terrific comeback. With 111 needed off the last 11 overs, Rawat's fiery 95*(85) and Sangwan's 58* (49) have taken Delhi home with eight balls to spare!

Delhi 289/6 after 48.4 overs: AND RAWAT FINISHES IT IN STYLE! Delhi has scripted an epic comeback to break Uttarakhand's dreams. Rawat finishes the match with consecutive sixes to seal Delhi's spot in the quarter-finals!

Delhi 273/6 after 48 overs: Oh, Rawat!
Take a bow.  The young Rajasthan Royals batsman is flexing his muscles now that the IPL fixtures are out and what a time to take out his A-game. Delhi steers towards the win and needs 15 runs in two overs!  Uttarakhand is slowly pushed out of the equation. It had the match in its hands before Rawat and Sangwan took the game by a storm!

Delhi 260/6 after 47 overs: 22-run over for Delhi!! Skipper Sangwan brings up his fifty in style. Oh, how the tables have turned for Uttarakhand. Delhi needs 28 runs in 18 balls. We are in for a thrilling finish.

Delhi 238/6 after 46 overs: A tight over sneaked in by Madhwal! Sangwan and Rawat are put under pressure once again as Delhi needs 50 runs in 24 balls! Get the slogs on!

Delhi 233/6 after 45 overs: RAWAT and SANGWAN provide a stellar fightback. They have taken on the spinners and the boundaries are flowing in at will. Delhi back in the hunt and now needs 57 runs in five overs to win!

Delhi 200/6 after 42 overs: Rawat and Sangwan bring up 200 for Delhi!  The skipper does it in style with a six as they have surely pressed the foot on the pedal now. Delhi needs 87 from 48 balls.

Delhi 177/6 after 39 overs: Uttarakhand on the prowl. The spinners Negi, Mishra and Abdullah have dried out the runs for Rawat and Sangwan and things difficult by the minute for Delhi. Delhi needs 111 from 66 balls.

Delhi 166/6 after 36 overs: Rawat and skipper Sangwan attempt a last hour magic. Sangwan is attempting to hold one end while Rawat has launched a couple of boundaries.  Delhi needs 122 runs in 14 overs.

Delhi 147/6 after 33 overs: Rana falls! Delhi is in shambles. D Negi gets the big man as Rana succumbs to the mounting pressure. With more than 150 needed, Rana had to up the scoring rate and Negi cashed in on the vulnerability. Rana's 81 is not enough to put Delhi out of danger. Rana b Negi 81 (88 b, 10*4, 1*6)

Delhi 126/5 after 30 overs: Rana and wicketkeeper Anuj Rawat attempt a l ate resurgence. This is Delhi's final hope surely. Rana moves into his 70s but now finds a task to switch gears while preserving his wicket.  Delhi needs 162 runs in 120 balls.

Delhi 110/5 after 26 overs: Nitish Rana brings up his fifty - A lone-standing battle from the southpaw as his half-century takes Delhi past 100. It will take him to stay till the end to see his side through.

Delhi 89/5 after 22 overs: Uttarakhand on a roll! Delhi loses its fifth wicket! Mayank Mishra strikes off his first ball as Lalit Yadav holes out as well. Delhi tottering here and Uttarakhand halfway through a dream run.  Lalit c Negi b Mishra 9 (12b 1*4)

Delhi 75/4 after 20 overs: Rana salvages a lone battle. Unfazed by the wickets tumbling around, the left-hander has hit four boundaries while crossing 30 - nearly half the total of the side.

Delhi 59/4 after 17 overs: Another wicket falls. Misery for Delhi! Kshitiz Sharma is run out and Rana is losing out on partners here. Uttarakhand in to create a massive upset here!  Sharma run out Negi 13 (23)

Delhi 57/3 after 16 overs: Uttarakhand affirms its position! Delhi losing its grip on this match as opener Manjot Kalra too fell cheaply for 19. The onus is on Nitish Rana to provide a blinder for Delhi from here on.

Delhi 22/2 after 6 overs: Uttarakhand has rocked Delhi with some fine bowling first-up. Rana and Kalra have been forced into a shell as Fallah and Madhwal have kept it tight.

Delhi 15/2 after 3 overs: Double strike for Uttarakhand! Himmat Singh follows Shorey back to the dressing-room. Fallah produces the edge off Himat as well which finds in the keeper's hands. New man Nitish Rana has come in and rhit a first-ball boundary.  Himmat c Rawat b Fallah 1(6)

Delhi 11/1 after 2 overs: Delhi suffers an early jolt! Madhwal picks up Shorey in his first over as he nicks one to the keeper Saurabh Rawat. Massive blow for Delhi as it loses an early wicket.  Shorey c Rawat b Madhwal 2 (3)

Delhi 8/0 after 1 over: Manjot Kalra provides a strong start with two boundaries off the first over. Delhi will need a solid start to base its chase here. In the absence of Dhawan, Kalra and Shorey have huge responsibilities on their shoulders.

Welcome back to the chase. Delhi openers Manjot Kalra and Dhruv Shorey walk out to the middle. SM Fallah with the ball for Uttarakhand.

Right, Delhi has its task cut out. 288 runs to seal the last QF spot of the Vijay Hazare Trophy!

UTT 287/8 after 50 overs: 24 runs off the final over!
Wicket-keeper Saurabh Rawat has produced a sensational finish for Uttarakhand as he creams Sangwan off the final over. Excellent cameo this but Sangwan has the last laugh as he cleans Rawat off the final ball. 52 runs coming in the last five overs for Uttarakhand and Delhi will feel the heat in this chase.

UTT 235/5 after 45 overs: Another one perishes. Lalit Yadav gets Vaibhav Bhatt as Uttarakhand begins to lose its way though the innings. The big hits have vanished against spin and here goes another batsman back to the hut after holing out to the slower bowler. Delhi has clawed back into the match in fine fashion.  Bhatt c Shorey b Lalit 29 (29b, 6*2)

UTT 224/4 after 43 overs: Skipper Chandela falls. Vashisth gets his man off his final over as Chandela aimed to up the ante. Delhi has come back well into the contest as the spinners have restricted the batsmen well. Kunal Chandel b Vashisth 62 (83b, 4*6)

UTT 201/3 after 40 overs: And with two sixes, new man Vaibhav Bhatt sends Uttarakhand past 200!  A fresh lease of life for his side who has struggled to get the runs flowing after a strong opening partnership. Delhi has put in a marathon spell with the spinners Rana and Vashisth poised to finish their entire 10 overs in a stretch.

UTT 180/3 after 37 overs: Rana strikes again for Delhi! Negi has holed out to Himmat Singh after getting a start. Uttarakhand's scoring has taken a hit in this partnership with both Chandela and Negi failing to find the boundaries. Delhi making slow inroads with some fine spell from its spinners. Negi c Himmat b Rana 20 (38b)

UTT 172/2 after 34 overs: Skipper Chandela
finds his groove and Uttarakhand has picked up the pace once again.  Rana and Vashisth continue through their spells onto the seventh over on the trot as Delhi hopes spin brings a couple of more wickets.

UTT 146/2 after 28 overs: Rana and Shivank Vashisth have chipped in with some quick overs to dry up the runs. Chandela and Negi have found it tough to pierce the gaps even as Uttarakhand nears 150.

UTT 135/2 after 25 overs: Rana provides the breakthrough!
Right at the halfway-mark Kamal Singh has been trapped in front of the stumps. Massive relief for Delhi as the Uttarakhand opener departs after a well made 77.  Kamal lbw Rana 77 (83b, 11*4, 1*6)

UTT 128/1 after 23 overs: Spin from both ends as Nitish Rana rolls his arm over alongside Lalit Yadav from the other end. Kamal Singh and Chandela have however, found it easy to keep the scoreboard ticking with singles and the occasional boundary.

UTT 113/1 after 20 overs:
Delhi's bowlers are being tonked around freely here. Khejroliya comes in for another spell and Kamal latches onto two more boundaries off the left-armer.

100 up for Uttarakhand! Cracking innings from opener Kamal Singh (66*)
as he sets it up for his side.

UTT 95/1 after 17 overs:
The run-rate has taken a hit with the arrival of captain Kunal Chandela who has found it tough to get going right away. Kamal Singh solid at one end as the side nears 100 against Delhi's bowlers. Lalit Yadav and Sangwan share the ends and has come back well after an expensive start.

UTT 88/1 after 14 overs: And the skipper strikes for Delhi. Sangwan sends Bista back.
Cleans the stumps up as Delhi finds a breather. A stellar opening partnership this has been for Uttarakhand. Bista who has mainly played second fiddle to Kamal walks back as Uttarakhand nears 100. Jay Bista b Sangwan 31 (29b, 4*4)

UTT 68/0 after 11 overs: Kamal and Bista are motoring through. Worrying signs for Sangwan as Khejroliya and Simarjeet have been nullified by the Uttarakhand openers who are setting up a fine base here for their side.

UTT 41/0 after 8 overs: Excellent start by the openers. Bista and Kamal have played it smart against Simarjeet and has taken the attack to Khejroliya and has provided a fine start to Uttarakhand's bid for that quarterfinal spot.

UTT 28/0 after 5 overs: Bista and Kamal have
smashed Khejroliya around the park. Five boundaries have been hit of his two overs since the opening over. Sangwan will be prompted to bring himself into the attack sooner than expected.

UTT 5/0 after 2 overs: Simarjeet with a fine start! A single run managed by Bista in the over as the right-arm paceman is on the money first-up.

UTT 4/0 after 1 over: Khejroliya begins well but concedes a boundary to Kamal. The openers have a task up their sleeves with Delhi posing two left-arm pacers in Khejroliya and skipper Sangwan while Simarjeet has been an excellent proponent of the early swinging conditions.

Right, action underway! Uttarakhand openers Kamal and Jay Bista walk out to the middle. Khejroliya takes the ball for Delhi.

So a near full-strength Delhi clashes on the best performer of the plate division in Uttarakhand.
