Summary: Deepak Hooda was the star for Jaipur Pink Panthers as it beat Dabang Delhi K.C. 36-30. The star raider clinched a Super 10 (12 points) and was supported well by his team’s defence. The win made it two in two attempts for the Season 1 champion which will slowly feel confident about clinching a Playoff spot. Dabang Delhi’s disorganised defence was the main reason for its downfall. Experienced stars Manjeet Chhillar, Jeeva Kumar and Joginder Narwal had very little effect on the match. They got just seven tackle points in the entire match (which included two Super Tackles). All-rounder Sandeep Narwal also had a poor outing, making errors in the defence and not involving in the raids. Vijay was the sole performer with 16 points.
FULL-TIME: Jaipur Pink Panthers completes the double over Dabang Delhi this season after winning tonight's match 36-30.
36-30: Delhi will go away with a point. Final raid of the match and Deepak Hooda goes in. It is a do-or-die one. The raider waits to see what options he has before walking straight into the trap set by Delhi's defensive unit. Jaipur Pink Panthers completes the double over Dabang Delhi!!
36-29: Excellent. Neeraj goes in for the raid and invites the right corner to go for the ankle hold. Last raid will be Jaipur's.
Fifty seven seconds left in the match and Delhi has taken the timeout.
36-28: Vijay trying his best to at least win a point for Delhi from this game as he escapes Sandeep's ankle hold on the left corner before making it past Deepak Singh's block. Delhi is not satisfied as it goes for the review asking for bonus and three touch points. The decision goes against them.
36-26: Vijay has been the only Delhi player who has maintained his good form. Another touch point for the raider and this time it is off Vishal.
36-25: A quick running hand touch by Sachin off Manjeet's face.
35-25: A rare error in defense from Deepak Hooda and Vijay takes the touch point.
35-24: This is bizarre from Sandeep Narwal. Deepak Hooda comes in for the raid and stretches to take a touch point off him who didn't go for him as instructed by the coach.
34-24: Vijay goes in for the raid and comes back in the blink of an eye. However, he does not get the bonus. Delhi reviews successfully and gets the bonus.
34-23: SUPER 10 FOR DEEPAK NIWAS HOODA!!! It was a do-or-die raid and Jeeva went far too quickly to take him down. Deepak gets the point but lands awkwardly possibly taking a knock on his wrist.
33-23: Sahul Kumar gets a tackle point after a perfect ankle hold on Neeraj Narwal.
Coach Krishan Kumar Hooda has instructed his side to go for Deepak Niwas Hooda and not allow easy bonus points.
Final strategic time out. Five minutes to go. Jaipur has the match tightly in its grasp and now just needs to run the clock down. For Delhi, a big raid is what it needs to have any chance of a comeback.
32-23: Vijay unsettles Jaipur's defense with his pace and it leads to Deepak Singh slipping and providing the touch point.
32-22: Nitin Rawal continues the good work as he takes down Ashu Malik this time. The match is getting out of Delhi's reach now.
31-22: Do-or-die for Deepak Hooda. No worries. Bonus point taken.
30-22: SUPER TACKLE!!! Brilliant substitution by Jaipur to take off Arjun and bring in Nitin Narwal who then takes down Neeraj Narwal before getting support from the others.
28-22: Vishal goes for an audacious ankle hold on Neeraj Narwal who uses his long reach to good effect.
First strategic time out. Ten minutes to go.
28-21: Sachin Narwal puts in the final raid before the first strategic time out and it is a do-or-die one. He takes a bonus and then a touch point as well courtesy off an unsuccessful dash by Jeeva.
26-21: Intelligent work by Ashu. The youngster went in for the raid, didn't get a touch initially but Deepak Singh went for the back hold. Ashu was close to the mid-line but waited for Sandeep to come for the assist. Two touch points.
26-19: Sachin Narwal picks up a bonus.
25-19: Is the tide turning? Vijay reaches out for a touch point off Deepak Hooda on the left corner, gets it and comes back. SUPER 10 FOR VIJAY!
25-18: Jeeva!!! The big defender shows conviction in the block and takes down Arjun Deshwal.
25-17: A running hand touch here, a running hand touch there. Arjun Deshwal uses Sandeep Narwal's slow retreat to his advantage as he collects the point off the right corner.
24-17: Vijay shows patience in this raid before going for the running hand touch on Sandeep on the left corner and he gets it.
24-16: Manjeet looked like he wad going for the tackle on Deepak but then withdrew. However, not far enough and Deepak Hooda took an easy touch point.
23-16: Third tackle point in a row. This time, the raider Ashu Malik gets mobbed by the defensive unit of the men in pink.
22-16: Nicely done. Delhi's defense returns the favour and takes down Arjun.
22-15: Ouch! Neeraj Narwal was in for the raid and slipped near Sandeep Dhull on the left corner. The experienced defender left no chance and went for the ankle hold.
Well, not the kind of return Naveen Kumar would have hoped for. But credit goes to Jaipur for staying disciplined and not letting him find his rhythm.
HALF-TIME Jaipur Pink Panthers 21-15 Dabang Delhi K.C.
21-15: Final raid of the first half, Vijay goes in, makes it look like he has a touch of Deepak Niwas Hooda on the right corner and runs back to the mid-line. As it turns out, he didn't have the touch. He entered the lobbies before being pushed off the mat by Vishal and Deepak Singh who have therefore been ruled self out. Jaipur Pink Panthers uses its review saying that only the raider is out since he had the touch but it is unsuccessful.
20-13: And so is the offense. Error from Ashu on the left corner, Arjun accepts it, takes the lobbies and wins the point by reaching the mid-line.
19-13: Sub Neeraj Narwal goes in for the raid but does not come back. Jaipur's defense is in full flow now.
18-13: Arjun Deshwal picks up a bonus.
17-13: Vijay is at it again. Great work by the raider to jump over Sandeep who went for the block. As it turns out, Deepak Singh was also involved in the struggle and he is off too.
17-11: Deepak Hooda picks up a bonus.
16-11: Another unsuccessful raid for Naveen Kumar. Excellent work by Jaipur to keep him quiet.
15-11: ALL OUT!!! Jeeva and Ashu Malik try to stop Deepak Hooda who had taken a touch off Ashu. However, this time no Super tackle and the raider is safe.
11-11: Vijay picks up a bonus in the do-or-die raid but then is taken down after Deepak Hooda puts in the ankle hold.

9-9: Wow!!! An ankle hold of the highest quality on Arjun by Ashu and it is a SUPER TACKLE.
9-7: Ashu Malik picks up a bonus.
9-6: Arjun gets redemption as he entices Joginder for the ankle hold and then escapes to bring back Deepak.
8-6: SUPER TACKLE!!! Two men on the mat for Delhi but they prove enough to stop Deepak Hooda. Massive back hold by Joginder.
8-4: Vijay picks up a bonus.
8-3: A weird ankle hold attempted by Manjeet Chhillar and Deepak has no problem in returning with a touch point.
7-3: Massive block by Deepak Singh and Naveen is off to the bench again.
6-3: Do-or-die raid for Deepak Hooda but he barely had to do much as he very quickly took a touch point off Sandeep on the right corner.
5-3: Lovely. Vijay goes in for the raid, Sandeep and Vishal go for him but the raider was smart enough to shift his momentum towards the mid-line. Naveen is back on the mat.
