The team owned by Sachin Tendulkar to debut in the upcoming fifth season of the Pro Kabaddi League will be named ‘Tamil Thalaivas’. Tendulkar announced this on Twitter, saying, “Another powerful addition to @ProKabaddi. Proud to announce our new team, @tamilthalaivas. Looking forward to an amazing season 5.” The new team will be named ‘Tamil Thalaivas.”
Tendulkar already owns a football team in the Indian Super League - the Kerala Blasters. The Pro Kabaddi League will begin in July.
