India’s Nirupama clinches bronze in Asian junior and youth weightlifting c’ship

Seram Nirupama Devi lifted a total of 178kg (79kg snatch, 99kg clean and jerk) to secure the youth girls’ 69kg bronze medal.

Nirupama finished third in snatch, and clean and jerk as well.

Seram Nirupama Devi lifted a total of 178kg (79kg snatch, 99kg clean and jerk) to secure the youth girls’ 69kg bronze medal in the Asian junior and youth weightlifting championship at Kathmandu on Thursday. Nirupama’s efforts helped her finish third in snatch and clean and jerk as well.
