Harinder Pal Singh Sandhu defeated second seed Piedro Schweertman in the semifinals.

Harinder Pal Sandhu is a win away from clinching back-to-back PSA titles in Australia. The third seed, in the Victorian Open semifinal, defeated Piedro Schweertman of Netherlands 11-5, 11-8, 11-8 in Melbourne on Saturday.

As in the earlier matches, fluency marked the Indian's show as he took just 35 minutes to complete the task. He had beaten Piedro with a degree of difficulty in the previous tournament in Adelaide at the semifinal stage.

Harinder, who'll meet top-seed Rex Hedrick of Australia, is yet to drop a set in the tournament.
