Rohan Bopanna and Timea Babos are two wins away from the mixed doubles title.

Rohan Bopanna and Timea Babos defeated Abigail Spears and Juan Sebastian Cabal 6-4, 7-6(5) to enter the mixed doubles semifinals of the Australian Open on Wednesday.

The Indo-Hungarian pair took an hour and 15 minutes to claim victory over the US-Colombian pair.

Bopanna-Babos  had defeated Franko Škugor and Vania King to progress to the quarterfinals. Interestingly, Bopanna mixed doubles partner Timea Babos has made it to the summit clash in the women's doubles with France's Kristina Mladenovic and could potentially win two titles this week.
