Purav Raja makes it to semis at France Challenger

Purav Raja and his Brazilian men's doubles partner Fabricio Neis made it to the semifinals of the € 69,280 Challenger tennis tournament in France.

Purav Raja alongside his Brazilian doubles partner Fabricio Neis won the quarterfinal in straight sets.

Purav Raja in partnership with Fabricio Neis of Brazil made the doubles semifinals with a 6-2, 6-2 victory over Gregoire Jacq and Hugo Voljacques in the € 69,280 Challenger tennis tournament in France.

Sriram Balaji in partnership with Jason Jung of Chinese Taipei was beaten 7-6(4), 6-3 by the third seeds Romain Arneodo and Andrei Vasilevski in the doubles quarterfinals of the $162,480 Challenger tennis tournament in Newport Beach, US.

The quarterfinal entry was worth 25 ATP points and $1,920.

In the ITF women’s event in Egypt, Ashmitha Easwaramurthi in partnership with Simona Waltert of Switzerland was beaten 10-7 in the super tie-break by Magali Kempen and Melanie Klaffner in the doubles semifinals.
