Leander Paes and Jeevan Nedunchezhiyan set up a doubles title clash against each other in the $125,000 Challenger tennis tournament in the US.
Seeded No.1 with Joe Salisbury of Britain, Leander sailed into the final with a 7-6(3), 6-4 victory over Austin Krajicek and Jackson Withrow of the US. Jeevan in partnership with Christopher Rungkat of Indonesia beat Dennis Novikov and Goncalo Oliveira 6-3, 6-3.
Meanwhle, Karman Kaur Thandi had two rounds of singles and doubles in the $25,000 ITF women’s event in Glasgow, to be prepared for the Fed Cup at home next week.

Prarthana Thombare in partnership with Peangtarg Plipuech of Thailand was beaten 10-2 in the super tie-break of the doubles pre-quarterfinals in the $250,000 WTA event in Chinese Taipei, by the local pair of Kai-Chen Chang and Chia-Jung Chuang.
National champions in doubles, Haadin Bava and Aryan Goveas bowed out in the doubles semifinals of the $15,000 ITF men’s Futures in Egypt.
