Watson, Continen claim Wimbledon mixed doubles crown

Heather Watson and Henri Continen won their maiden Wimbledon mixed doubles title, with a 7-6 (7-5), 6-4 victory over Robert Farah and Anna-Lena Groenefeld.

Britain's Heather Watson and Henri Kontinen of Finland, who teamed up for the first time last week, won the Wimbledon mixed doubles title on Sunday.

Watson and Kontinen defeated 15th seeds Robert Farah of Colombia and Germany's Anna-Lena Groenefeld 7-6 (7/5), 6-4.
