Tamara Zidansek defeated Magda Linette in straight sets to claim glory in the final of the Bol Open on Sunday.
The Slovenian, ranked 122 in the world, prevailed 6-1 6-3 on the Croatian clay to seal her success in the WTA 125k event.
After the opening two games went with serve, Zidansek reeled off five in a row, including two breaks, to stun the second seed and edge ahead.
Zidansek wasted three match points when serving for the title at 5-2 as Linette kept herself in the contest, but the reprieve was short-lived as her opponent hit back immediately to clinch victory.
