The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 is reaching its business end with the race for the playoffs heating up after each match.

The IPL honours players with a number of awards at the end of each season, among them is the purple cap which goes to the highest wicket-taker during the course of the tournament.

Kagiso Rabada continues to top the wickets tally with 23 victims from 11 matches. Mohammed Shami is second with 20 wickets while Jofra Archer is third with 17.

Mumbai Indians' Lasith Malinga, with 170 victims, is the all-time highest wicket-taker in the IPL. Delhi Capitals' Amit Mishra, who was recently ruled out of IPL 2020 with an injury, is second on the list with 160 wickets. Piyush Chawla, the Chennai Super Kings leggie, is currently third with 156.
