81' This all seems very routine right now for Bayern as we go into the final 10 minutes.

Change for Bayern" Gnabry comes off for debutant Oliver Batista Meier

Bayern is cruising towards a win at the moment.

Change for Bayern: Muller comes off for Zirkzee

Sobbotka is helped away by Dusseldorf medical staff. Looks like he suffered a nasty injury. Pledl replaces Sobbotka.

71' Bayern is carving Dusseldorf apart here. Kastenmeier with a double save against Gnabry first followed by a shot from Lewandowski.

Double change for Fortuna: Zimmerman, Thommy off for Zimmer, Suttner

65' Finally a save for Neuer as he pushes behind a drive from Giesselmann.

63' Alaba picks out Muller with a chipped ball over the top. The German brings it down before smashing it over from eight yards out. He isn't happy about it and lets us know with a scream in anguish.

Double change for Bayern. Odriozola and Perisic come on for Coman and Pavard

60' A cross from the right into the far post and Hoffman puts it over the bar from close range.

56' Pavard nearly recreates his stunning volley from the 2018 World Cup against Argentina! He catches a volley from distance but Kastenmeier gets down to push it behind.

53' 5-0. A rout at the Allianz Arena. Davies wins the ball at the edge of the box and bursts through the defence to slot in his first of the match.

50' 4-0. And a second goal for Lewandowski. It was coming for Bayern. Gnabry with a cut-back and Lewandowski with a backhell which nutmegs the 'keeper and into the net!

45' Second half is underway. Change for Bayern. Mickael Cuisance comes on for Lucas Hernandez.

No added time to the first half as the referee blows the whistle for half time. Clinical from Bayern as it continues its march towards a eighth successive Bundesliga table.

44' And a third goal! Lewandowski scores his 42nd goal of the season! Kimmich runs on to apass on the right and lays it off for Muller, who lays it off for Lewandowski. The striker smashes the ball into the bottom corner!

43' Gnabry cuts in again from the left and squares it for Kimmich on the edge of the box. Kimmich takes a touch to take his shot but a defender gets in the way of it.

Bayern has taken the foot off the pedal in the last few minutes.

38' Gnabry gives a good example of what he is capable of. He cuts in from the left, checks away from two-three defenders before unleashing a shot from outside the box which whizzes past the crossbar.

35' Coman pulls away from his marker and fires in a low cross which is marginally away from the boot of Gnabry.

33' A great chance for Dusseldorf. Good play from the left side as Dusseldorf opens up the Bayern defence. Karaman brings the ball down and sweeps it across goal but Davies' leg is in the way of the shot!

29' GOAL! Pavard gets his goal after all... No chance for Kastenmeier this time as Pavard heads a corner powerfully down to the ground and into the left corner of the goal.

29' Excellent save from Kastenmeier to push the ball behind from a half-volley from Muller.

27' Ouch. A high boot inside Bayern's box as Karaman's boot catches the face of Hernandez as he tried to bring the ball down. A yellow card for the striker

25' A deep cross to the far post from Muller but Lewandowski can't get on the end of it.

22' No respite for Dusseldorf as Bayern continues to pin the away side in its own half.

As it stands, Bayern has a 10 point lead at the top over its nearest rival, Borussia Dortmund.

15' And there's the goal... Muller plays the ball over the top for Gnabry who plays it into the area for the waiting Bayern players. Pavard side-foots the ball onto the path of Dusseldorf defender Jorgensen, who deflects it into his own net in his attempt to clear the ball away.

14' Bayern hits its strides as it dominates possession in the Dusselfdorf half.

Not often do you see this. Three left-footed players - Davies, Hernandez and Alaba - in the Bayern back four.

9' Lucas Hernandez with an excellent challenge to deny Dusseldorf a two-on-two advantage on the break.

6' Lewandowski is played through on goal but he can't get the touch on the ball to take it over the onrushing 'keeper.

4' Duseeldorf makes a foray into the Bayern half and Morales scuffs his shot from the edge of the box. Neuer collects the ball with ease.

The live crowd noise at the Allianz makes it seem like a regular match on TV.

2' Nearly a perfect start for Bayern as Davies' cross from the left is inches away from Lewandowski's reach. But the flag goes up for offside.

1' The players are out in the middle. And it's kick-off.

PREVIEW

Hansi Flick has told his  Bayern Munich  stars they must not relax after the victory at Borussia Dortmund that moved them to the brink of title glory.

A seven-point lead with six rounds remaining has given Bayern firm control of its Bundesliga destiny, and it could even afford a couple of slip-ups before the season ends.

However, Flick has drilled into his players the need to keep pushing, with a Champions League resumption to follow the domestic league and DFB-Pokal trophy hunt.

Fortuna Dusseldorf is Bayern's visitor on Saturday evening, and it has plenty to play for as it wages a battle to avoid relegation.

"I'm thinking about how to keep the tension high," said Flick on Friday. "Dusseldorf are not easy to play against. We have to fully bring everything that we've shown in the recent games. I'm in good spirits."

Many teams have struggled to make home advantage count since the league resumed after its coronavirus interruption, but Bayern thumped Eintracht Frankfurt 5-2 last weekend, an ideal warm-up for Tuesday's big clash at Dortmund.

After Joshua Kimmich's sublime chip delivered three priceless points at Signal Iduna Park, Flick wants to know what Bayern have for an encore.

"Of course, we also want to win against Dusseldorf, even if it will be difficult," he said. "We want to back up the big point from during the week."

Flick, who took charge barely six months ago, is revelling in the hectic run of games that Bayern has so far come through unscathed.

Midweek Bundesliga fixtures on top of weekend games are usually scarce in Germany and there is a particular term - Englische Woche (English week) - to describe such times, reflecting the heavier demands Premier League clubs face.

There will be more such weeks as the Bundesliga attempts to wrap up its season by the end of June.

"The schedule was relatively tight through the English week," Flick said. "The Dortmund game was on the level of a Champions League game, two top teams against each other.

"A lot was invested there. Now it is important to build on this, especially in the home game. Next week is a normal week and then there is another English week. So the workload is similar to that of the Champions League."

Regarding the actual Champions League, in which Bayern holds a 3-0 first-leg advantage over Chelsea in its last-16 tie, Flick is not yet looking in that direction.

He said: "The Bundesliga is my focus and then the cup semifinal against Frankfurt. What comes after June is still a long way off."
