Hello and welcome to Sportstar's LIVE coverage of Match 29 of IPL 2020 between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Chennai Super Kings at the Dubai International Stadium.

Meanwhile, Delhi Capitals will take on Rajasthan Royals in Match 30 of IPL 2020 at the Dubai International Stadium on Wednesday.

Chennai Super Kings beats Sunrisers Hyderabad by 20 runs.

SRH 146/7 after 19 overs: Dwayne Bravo with the ball and this is Chennai's game to close.

SRH 141/6 after 18 overs: The wicket of Kane Williamson put Chennai on top but Karn Sharma leaked 19 runs from his over and this game isn't over!

SRH 122/5 after 17 overs: Dwayne Bravo strikes and he gets Vijay Shankar to put Chennai in commanding position. Meanwhile, Williamson has calmly notched a half-century.

SRH 109/4 after 16 overs: Piyush Chawla into the attack and he starts well as the leg-spinner doesn't concedes a boundary. Game firmly in Chennai's grasp, but there is a certain Kane Williamson, who is approaching his half-century.

SRH 101/4 after 15 overs: Priyam Garg falls under pressure and Karn Sharma bags his first as Ravindra Jadeja swallows an easy catch in the deep. Vijay Shankar is the new man and he will be under pressure, given the situation Sunrisers are in. Williamson holds key.

SRH 93/3 after 14 overs: Kane Williamson survives as the ball evades a diving MS Dhoni and the New Zealand skipper is keeping Sunrisers in the hunt. This chase is going all the way down to the wire. Chennai needs a wicket.

SRH 82/3 after 13 overs: Karn Sharma is quickly running through and hasn't conceded a boundary this over. He is varying his pace and is inviting Priyam Garg to go for lofted shots, but the batsman doesn't fall for the temptation. The required rate is now 12.59.

SRH 76/3 after 12 overs: Kane Williamson breaks away from the shakles with two consecutive boundaries and has punished Jadeja for erring in length. Dhoni isn't happy behind the stumps.

SRH 64/3 after 11 overs: Karn Sharma starts in excellent fashion and with the wicket slowing down, Dhoni knows he and his team is in this game, Suddenly the modest 168 will seem to be a tall total if the CSK spinners further choke Sunrisers's batsmen.

SRH 60/3 after 10 overs: Turn and Ravindra Jadeja makes an impact straightaway as he castles Jonny Bairstow and the energy is high among the CSK players. Dhoni is getting vocal as Priyam Garg enters the arena.

SRH 57/2 after 9 overs: Shardul Thakur is being introduced into the attack and he gives just five runs from his opening over. Time-out!

SRH 52/2 after 8 overs: There was an appeal for lbw with Bairstow on strike but Dhoni decided against the review. Jadeja starts well and Chennai needs to break this stand soon.

SRH 46/2 after 7 overs: Deepak Chahar finishes his spell and records figures of 4-0-28-0 and Sunrisers has entered the rebuilding phase. Chennai can't afford to relax as it needs wickets.

SRH 40/2 after 6 overs: Kane Williamson is motoring on as he collects his second boundary, this time off Curran. Chennai eyeing another wicket here.

SRH 34/2 after 5 overs: Such a sight to behold when Kane Williamson bats! Walks in a tight position and with ease slots a short and wide delivery through the cover-point region to get off the mark. Top shot.

SRH 27/2 after 4 overs: What a start for Chennai as first Sam Curran gets David Warner and then Dwayne Bravo with a direct hit packs off Manish Pandey to leave Sunrisers in early trouble.

SRH 21/0 after 3 overs: Bairstow is off the blocks quickly and Sunrisers is targetting a good score in the PowerPlay unlike its previous match where it got stuck. Chennai searching for breakthrough.

SRH 10/0 after 2 overs: Crunch through covers and Jonny Bairstow is up and running as Sam Curran gives six in his first over.

SRH 4/0 after 1 over: Steady start by Deepak Chahar and Chennai needs wickets upfront. That's the only way it can defend the total.

David Warner and Jonny Bairstow will open the innings for SRH. Deepak Chahar with the new ball.

End of Innings: CSK 167/6 after 20 overs

Well, cameo from MS Dhoni and Ravindra Jadeja has given Chennai a competitive total and it needs early wickets to make a match out of it. Jadeja's 10-ball 25 might just be the game-changing innings.

Chennai 152/5 after 19 overs: That was the old MS Dhoni as Natarajan erred in line and the CSK skipper smoked it over long-on. But, DHoni departs the very next ball after Chennai crossed the 150-run mark.

Chennai 138/4 after 18 overs: Excellent bowling from Sandeep Sharma as he finishes with 4-0-19-2 and almost took a stunner off his own bowling but eventually dropped Dhoni. Sunrisers aren't letting Chennai run away.

Chennai 129/4 after 17 overs: Dhoni is showing no signs of rustiness as he dispatches Natarajan to the backward square leg boundary and then slaps hom over covers to give Chennai the momentum.

Chennai 119/3 after 16 overs: Khaleel Ahmed comes back into the attack and gets Ambati Rayudu and Sunrisers break the partnership. Out walks skipper MS Dhoni and Chennai needs him to fire along with a well-set Watson at the crease.

Chennai 116/2 after 15 overs: Both Watson and Rayudu have freed their arms as they smash Rashid Khan for two maximums and suddenly there is a spike in the run-rate. Chennai needs more.

Chennai 102/2 after 14 overs: The 100 is up for Chennai and in the next six overs it needs a minimum of 60 runs to post a competitive total. Rayudu and Watson are well-set but they need to make a move on.

Chennai 92/2 after 13 overs: Shane Watson has decided to attack as he slog sweeps Rashid Khan high over deep mid-wicket and gives Chennai some impetus. Top shot but Rashid bounces back to give just two more from the over.

Chennai 84/2 after 12 overs: Shane Watson survives as Manish Pandey claimed a catch but the soft signal was Not Out and it remained as the ball was grounded. The Partnership is 49 and the batsmen are set, ready to tee off.

Chennai 74/2 after 11 overs: Rashid Khan dropped Shane Watson off his own bowling but that was hit hard and he nearly damaged his finger. Nevertheless, Sunrisers have squeezed CSK and the batsmen need to break away from the shakles.

Chennai 69/2 after 10 overs: Nadeem and Rashid are keeping things tight and Chennai batsmen are currently relying on singles. Five from the over.

Chennai 64/2 after 9 overs: Rashid Khan once again dries up runs and he gives just three runs from his opening over. So it will be spin from both ends and CSK batsmen needs to up the ante.

Chennai 61/2 after 8 overs: Bairstow drops Rayudu when the batsman was batting on 9 and how costly that would prove. Nadeem starts with a 9-run over.

Chennai 52/2 after 7 overs: Watson and his pick-up shots! Such clean hitting as the Australia with a six off Natarajan has brought the fifty up for Chennai and it has gained some kind of momentum.

Chennai 44/2 after 6 overs: Ambati Rayudu finishes the PowerPlay with a boundary and Chennai wold take that. But, this partnership needs to bloosom and will be the key as the innings progresses.

Chennai 39/2 after 5 overs: Sandeep Sharma castles Sam Curran and a little cameo from Curran comes to an end. Length delivery, slightly coming in, Curran misses the line and the ball castles the timber. Ambati Rayudu joins Shane Watson.

Chennai 22/1 after 4 overs: Sam Curran has decided to attack as he smokes Khaleel Ahmed for two consecutive boundaries and then whacks the bowlers over long-on for a maximum. The all-rounder then ends the over with another maximum, this time stright over the bowler's head as 22 runs come from the over.

Chennai 12/1 after 3 overs: Early setback for Chennai as Sandeep Sharma gets Faf du Plessis for a duck, his first since 2014 IPL - according to the commentators. Slightly back of length, Du Plessis checks his defence at the last minute but gets a thick outside edge and Bairstow does the rest behind the stumps.

Chennai 10/0 after 2 overs: Poor delivery from Khaleel and Curran is off the mark with a solid cut over point. Faf du Plessis is yet to open his account.

Chennai 3/0 after 1 over: Excellent start from Sandeep Sharma as he gives just three from the over. Chennai would hope the change in opening pair might work and the only reason might be quick starts.

Surprise, Faf du Plessis and Sam Curran, not Shane Watson are out there in the middle and out come the Sunrisers' players. This is going to be a crucial game for Chennai and a loss tonight might well wrap up its season. It will be Sandeep Sharma with the new ball with Curran on strike.

Chennai Super Kings wins toss, elects to bat first.

Playing XI:

Sunrisers Hyderabad: David Warner(c), Jonny Bairstow(w), Manish Pandey, Kane Williamson, Priyam Garg, Vijay Shankar, Shahbaz Nadeem, Rashid Khan, Sandeep Sharma, Khaleel Ahmed, T Natarajan

Chennai Super Kings: Shane Watson, Faf du Plessis, Ambati Rayudu, MS Dhoni(w/c), Ravindra Jadeja, Sam Curran, Dwayne Bravo, Deepak Chahar, Shardul Thakur, Piyush Chawla, Karn Sharma

Team Changes:CSK - Piyush Chawla comes in for Jagadeesan | SRH - Shahbaz Nadeem in for Abhishek Sharma

MS Dhoni: We're batting first. Yes, for a change. Last few games we wanted to bat first, but never got the opportunity. The thing with stats is that you can get it any way you want to. It's a process and it's quicker if the guys buy into it, and follow the process. As I said, each game will have new problems. Today it will be about how we counter the shorter boundary one on side. Cricket is very close to life and it doesn't always go the way you want. It teaches you what you want to follow as a process. 2010 ended on a happy note but we can't just rely on that. One change - Chawla in for Jagadeesan. We thought about Tahir but the combination isn't letting us.

David Warner: Yes, that's probably how everybody is going around these days. Interested to see how the wicket is going to play. There is a bigger boundary on one side and need to make the batters play there. The easiest thing to do is to forget about it (the previous loss). I'm really enjoying it (captaincy) and having Kane also helps. Really enjoying the group that we have. One change - Nadeem in for Abhishek Sharma,

Head-to-head: (13 matches- CSK 9 | SRH 4)

The two teams have faced each other 13 times in the IPL so far, and CSK holds a 9-4 head-to-head win/loss record over SRH.

The Preview

Eleven days after their last clash, Chennai Super Kings and Sunrisers Hyderabad will meet again in Dubai on Tuesday. The last time the two teams met, Sunrisers won by seven runs but the margin of victory doesn’t reflect the fact it outplayed the Super Kings convincingly.

The build-up

Both teams come into this encounter on the back of defeats in their respective last games and can’t afford any further slip-up. The teams have played seven matches and Sunrisers have three wins compared to the Super Kings’ two.

On Sunday, Sunrisers failed to close out the match against Rajasthan Royals after having the latter under the mat defending 158. While the team’s batting unit has been amongst the runs, the bowling unit is hurting with the loss of Bhuvneshwar Kumar. T Natarajan and  Rashid Khan  have stepped up to the occasion but need support from other bowlers.
