Hello and welcome to Sportstar's LIVE coverage of the Qualifier 1 between Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals at the Dubai International Stadium, Dubai.

Result: Mumbai Indians beat Delhi Capitals by 57 runs to book a place in the final.

DC 129/7 after 19 overs: Mumbai Indians will be entering the final of IPL 2020 and the mighty team has crushed Delhi in chase of 201.

DC 118/7 after 18 overs: What a spell from Jasprit Bumrah as he records 4-1-14-4.

DC 115/7 after 17 overs: Mumbai Indians with a dominant show are almost into the final.

DC 112/7 after 16 overs: Jasprit Bumrah picks a four-wicket haul and what a fine bowling show this has been from Mumbai. They are into the final of IPL 2020.

DC 112/5 after 15 overs: Axar Patel with two sixes has given Delhi some hope but Delhi needs Stoinis to fire.

DC 97/5 after 14 overs: Stoinis is batting on 63 and he has Axar Patel, who can play the second fiddle. Mumbai will look to close this as quickly as possible.

DC 91/5 after 13 overs: Stoinis is at his best and Rahul Chahar has leaked 35 runs in his two overs. Axar Patel, too, cashes in with a boundary and Delhi staging a fightback.

DC 75/5 after 12 overs: Marcus Stoinis brings his fifty and he is keeping Delhi in hunt. Can he play the innings of his life to pull Deli through? Need to wait and watch.

DC 68/5 after 11 overs: Top stuff from Kieron Pollard as he gives just three runs from his second over and Delhi is nothing but suffocated.

DC 65/5 after 10 overs: Excellent from Krunal Pandya as he gives just four from his third over as Delhi requires 136 runs off 60 balls.

DC 61/5 after 9 overs: Marcus Stoinis has decided to attack as he smokes Rahul Chahar for 19 with a boundary and two huge sixes. Mumbai can afford as it has wiped off the top-order.

DC 42/5 after 8 overs: The parade continues as Rishabh Pant's poor IPL season continues. Krunal Pandya picks his first wicket to leave Delhi five down. They have just succumbed under pressure.

DC 36/4 after 7 overs: This has been an one-sided affair, so far but the opportunity is optune for Rishabh Pant to show his prowess. For now, Mumbai on top

DC 32/4 after 6 overs: Absolutely not the start Delhi would have wanted. They have simply fell apart in chase of mammoth 201.

DC 25/4 after 5 overs: Krunal Pandya bowls a tight over, giving just five and Delhi under serious pressure. Rishabh Pant and Stoinis have a mountain to climb.

DC 20/4 after 4 overs: The fall continues as Bumrah picks his second as he removes Shreyas Iyer and Rohit Sharma packs off the Delhi skipper with an excellent catch at cover. This game is done and dusted, unless Delhi pulls off a miracle.

DC 15/3 after 3 overs: Shreyas Iyer calms some nerves by fetching two back to back boundaries but Mumbai's opening bowlers have been simply sensational.

DC 6/3 after 2 overs: Jasprit Bumrah with a peach of a yorker castles Shikhar Dhawan and Delhi has almost lost this game. Marcus Stoinis finds a boundary to get the runs on board. Mumbai attacking with its two premier fast bowlers.

DC 0/2 after 1 over: Yes, you better believe it! Trent Boult has landed thunderboults as he removes Prithvi Shaw and Ajinkya Rahane for ducks and Mumbai has strangled Delhi in chase of 201. Delhi needs something extraordinary from here.

Alright we are back for the chase and it's going to be a tall chase for Delhi. Shikhar Dhawan and Prithvi Shaw are ready and it will be Trent Boult with the new ball. Delhi needs 201

End of Innings: MI posts 200/5 after 20 overs.

What an onslaught it has been in the last five overs as Ishan Kishan hits an unbeaten fifty, Hardik Pandya smacks an unbeaten 14-ball 37 and Delhi has a mammoth run chase in front of them. A 23-ball 60 run partnership from Ishan and Hardik and Mumbai has one foot in the final.

MI 180/5 after 19 overs: Hardik Pandya smokes Rabada for two huge sixes, bringing his bottom-hand into play and then Ishan Kishan finds a boundary as Mumbai has reached a total that its bowlers can play with.

MI 162/5 after 18 overs: Hardik Pandya tees off with a maximum and then Ishan Kishan joins him as Daniel Sams leaks 17 runs to finish with expensive figures of 4-0-44-0.

MI 145/5 after 17 overs: Marcus Stoinis strikes and he removes Krunal Pandya, who did play a little cameo with a 10-ball 13, which means brother Hardik joins Ishan as Mumbai gears for a late assault.

MI 140/4 after 16 overs: Ishan Kishan and Krunal Pandya take Nortje to the cleaners and this is such clean hitting. Both batsmen have decided to attack and this move is paying rich dividends.

MI 122/4 after 15 overs: Ishan Kishan has decided to tee off and he hammers Rabada for a boundary to the deep mid-wicket and then smokes the fast bowler with a brilliant pull over the deep square leg boundary for a maximum as the ball lands on the roof!

MI 108/4 after 14 overs: Time-out! Daniel Sams bowls an excellent over as he gives just five from his third over and Delhi back in business after a brief onslaught from De Kock and Suryakumar Yadav.

MI 103/4 after 13 overs: R Ashwin delivers on the big night as he removes the dangerous Kieron Pollard and Delhi fighting back with wickets. Ashwin finishes with excellent figures 4-0-29-3

MI 100/3 after 12 overs: Anrich Nortje strikes to remove Suryakumar Yadav who departs for a well-made 51 off 38 deliveries. Kieron Pollard surives a hue LBW appeal as Nortje pins him with a yorker but Delhi don't have a review.

MI 96/2 after 11 overs: Excellent from Rabada as he gives just three runs from his second over. Suryakumar three away from his half-century.

MI 93/2 after 10 overs: Tight over from Axar Patel as he gives just seven, considering how Mumbai is going in full throttle. Delhi needs wickets.

MI 86/2 after 9 overs: Suryakumar Yadav is in some mood today as he is picking a boundary every over and this time he pulls Daniel Sams through the backward square leg for a boundary.

MI 79/2 after 8 overs: There's the breakthrough and it's Ashwin again as he removes the well-set De Kock, who was taking the game away from Delhi. Slow through the air, De Kock steps out with an intention to go bog but miscues it as Dhawan takes an easy catch.

MI 71/1 after 7 overs: Delhi take a review and De Kock survives. Suryakumar, meanwhile, pockets yet another boundary wih a cut to the third man boundary. Runs coming thick and fast for Mumbai on a belter of a track.

MI 63/1 after 6 overs: Mumbai off to a great start and this is exactly what they would have wanted. Suryakumar has got into his rhythm as he first lofts Ashwin over long-off for a maximum and then bisects the gap between point and extra cover to end the Powerplay in a boundary.

MI 52/1 after 5 overs: The fifty is up for Mumbai and Suryakumar gets into the attack as he smacks Nortje for two back to back boundaries - one to cow corner and the next through the mid-wicket. There was an appeal for a caught behind but Delhi decide against the review.

MI 43/1 after 4 overs: The first maximum of the night and De Kock with beautiful use of his feet lofts Acar over long-on. De Kock is on a mission here and Delhi needs to arrest the run-flow.

MI 31/1 after 3 overs: De Kock is motoring on nicely and has given Mumbai a flying start despite the fall of Rohit Sharma. Suryakumar Yadav has opened his account.

MI 22/1 after 2 overs: R Ashwin strikes and he nullifies the good start provided by De Kock by dismissing Rohit Sharma for a first-ball duck. De Kock however, continues to score at will as he drives Ashwin through the covers.

MI 15/0 after 1 over: Quinton de Kock begins in style as he smacks Daniel Sams for 15 runs in the opening over. De Kock starts with a boundary, pockets a couple, plays a dot, then smacks two consecutive boundaries and then takes a single to retain strike. Rohit is yet to get on strike.

In this playoff special episode, Vijay Lokapally, Shayan Acharya and Wriddhaayan Bhattacharyya draw out the season report cards for the four teams that crashed out, analyse the top four and pick their favourites for the title.

The fireworks go up and the Delhi side makes its way to the middle and it will be Rohit Sharma along with Quinton de Kock who will open for Mumbai. It will be Daniel Sams with the new ball.

Alright, we are set for the first Qualifier between Mumbai and Delhi... The equation is simple - the winner books a spot in the IPL 2020 final and the loser will get another chance as it will play against the winner of the Eliminator.

Delhi Capitals wins toss, opts to bowl first against Mumbai Indians.

Playing XI

Mumbai Indians: Rohit Sharma(c), Quinton de Kock(w), Suryakumar Yadav, Ishan Kishan, Hardik Pandya, Kieron Pollard, Krunal Pandya, Nathan Coulter-Nile, Rahul Chahar, Trent Boult, Jasprit Bumrah

Delhi Capitals: Prithvi Shaw, Shikhar Dhawan, Ajinkya Rahane, Shreyas Iyer(c), Rishabh Pant(w), Marcus Stoinis, Daniel Sams, Axar Patel, Ravichandran Ashwin, Kagiso Rabada, Anrich Nortje

Changes: Delhi - Unchanged | Mumbai - Jasprit Bumrah, Trent Boult and Hardik Pandya are back in place of James Pattinson, Dhawal Kulkarni and Saurabh Tiwary.

Pitch report: The surface looks fantastic. Got a little bit of grass on it which should offer a little bit of pace and bounce. It actually aids the batting side as well and later in the night when dew starts to form then it will aid the batting side as well. 20 of the last 26 games have been won by the team batting second. Sides batting first are tentative and that's the biggest issue. 160 is the average score here and anything over 180-185 you are in the game -  Simon Doull and Pommie Mbangwa.

Preview

Defending champion  Mumbai Indians  may have been thrashed by 10 wickets by Sunrisers Hyderabad, but going into Thursday’s first qualifier against  Delhi Capitals  at the Dubai International Stadium, it is the firm favourite.

For MI, Tuesday's game was a dead-rubber, having already sealed top spot. It used the opportunity to rest three of its best players in Jasprit Bumrah (23 wickets), Trent Boult (20 wickets) and Hardik Pandya, a luxury most teams cannot afford. That’s how much of a well-oiled machine MI is.

If anything, the match against SRH can be considered a positive, for skipper  Rohit Sharma  emerged unscathed after his return from a hamstring injury.
